Our Favorite 3-Ingredient Smoothies

Smoothies are a refreshing and simple way to eat a nutritious breakfast or snack on the go (or for Sunday mornings on the couch scrolling through Instagram). Sometimes, though, smoothies recipes can be a little convoluted — we don’t all have Matcha powder or coconut milk stocked in our kitchen at all times. So here are our favorite 3-ingredient smoothies for an easy snack or meal:

Blueberry Chocolate

1 banana, 1 cup blueberries, and 1 tablespoon cocoa powder — blend with 1/2-1 cup liquid & enjoy!

Peanut Butter Strawberry

1 banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter. Blend with 1/2-1 cup liquid & enjoy!

Green Mango

1 banana, 1 cup mango, 1 handful greens (kale or spinach). 1/2 cup liquid, blend and sip!

Blueberry Almond

1 Cup blueberries, 1 tablespoon almond butter, 1/2 cup almond milk. Blend and enjoy this protein pack smoothie that will keep you fueled until lunch!

Mixed Berry

1 cup mixed berries, 1 banana, 1/2 cup almond milk

When it comes down to it, creating the perfect three ingredient smoothies comes down to a pretty simple formula: 1 banana + 1 cup other fruit + 1 protein (think: peanut butter, kale, cocoa powder, yogurt) and 1/2-1 cup liquid (water, ice, almond milk, juice, coconut water). Blend & enjoy!
