Want To Ace Your Exam? Eat These Foods The Night Before

-

- Advertisment -

When you’re cramming the night before an exam, it’s easy to munch on candies and drink Redbull. However, there are much better foods to help you stay focused while you prepare for an exam. By fueling your brain, you’ll have a much better chance of scoring that A on your next test.

Walnuts

These nuts are packed with nutrients that are great for your brain. Crack open one and you’ll find omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E. If plain walnuts don’t sound appealing to you, try making your own trail mix. Mix in chocolate chips and raisins for a sweet treat!

Dark Chocolate

Dark Chocolate is rich in magnesium, iron, and flavonols, which help blood flow to the brain. Although you may prefer milk chocolate, it doesn’t carry the same benefits as dark chocolate. Make sure you choose a chocolate with at least 70% cocoa to get the optimum benefits.

Salmon

This fish is full of omega-3 fatty acids that improve brain health. For bonus points, cook it in coconut oil that is great for your brain and body.

Spinach

If you’re cooking dinner, it’s easy to add a side of spinach with your salmon. Spinach contains vitamin K, folate, and lutein to help with vision as well. It’s a great choice whether you’re studying or not!

Blueberries

These little berries are packed with antioxidants and anthocyanins that improve memory function. These portable berries are great to pack along with you for a long night at the library. You can even pack some into a smoothie with spinach and juice for some powerful brain food.

In addition to these brain-healthy foods, they are packed with vitamins and nutrients that are great for the rest of your body too. So next time you feel like snacking on some chips while doing some last minute studying, you may want to rethink your decision. Good luck on your next exam!
